今日Contemporary Debates in Philosophy of Scienceという論文集（Christopher Hitchcock (ed.)）を借りてきたのが、contributors紹介のページにこうある。

Christopher Hichcock is Professor of Philosophy at the
California Institute of Technology. When he is not busy trying to get　contributors to submit their papers on time, he is acutally able to pursue his　research, which primarily focuses on the theory of causation and explanation. He　also works on confirmation and decision thoery, and claims to have solved some　beguiling paradoxes in probability. You may find Hitchcock's papers throughout　the leading journals in philosophy and philosophy of science.

クリストファー・ヒッチコックは カリフォルニア・インスティテュート・オブ・テクノロジーの哲学の教授である。寄稿者に論文を時間内に提出させようとするのに忙しくないときには、実は彼は自分の研究を行うことができるのである。彼の研究は第一に因果と説明の理論に焦点をおいている。彼はまた確証と意志決定の理論について研究しており、確率についての混乱させられやすいパラドックスを解決したといっている。哲学と科学哲学の主要な雑誌のいたるところで、ヒッチコックの論文は見つかるかもしれない。
