Languages and language

今日はD.LewisのLanguages and language.（一回書いたものを誤って消したのであんまりやる気なしです）。

• Lewisはこの論文でformal semantics（Frege, Russell, Davidson, Carnapその他諸々）とGriceの見方を調停しようとする。
• convention of truthfulness and trustとregulationやgrammerとの関係がはっきりしない。
• そりゃtruthfulness and trustはcommunicationを成立させるには必要だろうが、それが何でconvention?
• conventionがsoundやmarkへの意味の割り当てにかかるものなら（つまりそれに対してalternativeがあるという意味で）、それとconvention of T and Tの関係はいかに？

あとmidterm examが帰ってきてそれについてはI can't complainだが先日のcausationのプレゼンの評価についてはも一つ納得がいかない。
